I am quite "conservative" beauty-wise, and my nail polish choice was always either black or red, with no particular experimentig or extravaganzas. But this year, I'm eager to try new colors - at least, new to me. So when I was browsing Rococo nail polishes in my local Space NK, undecided between a taupe - browny shade and a lively peach coral, I finally decided to start a new deal in my nails life.
This shade is the Perfect Peach. It's neither too orange, nor too pink. It's a lovely pastel toned peachy color with tiny silver glitters to it. I wouldn't define this polish as a proper "glittery" one, just because the shimmer is so slight and imperceptible that you have to go right under the sunlight to see it.
This is my first Rococo nail polish, and I have to say the quality is quite good. I don't mind the brush - the application was rather easy, and I'm not a master - at all. You need two coats to reach an even finish with this polish, but that's not bad considering that light nail polishes aren't that pigmented. I had a slightly chipping during the second day of wearing, but I have been doing lots of house-work.
You can buy Rococo nail polishes in Space NK at 12 £.
I love peach. Considering I hate orange, and I'm not a fan of pink, I think peach is a lovely passe-par-tout color. If you wear peach, you can't go wrong. I mean, if you decide to wear a peach polish, a peach blush and peach lips, the overall effect it's gonna be lovely 99% of times! Try the same with red, and I guess it's not going to be so nice! Peach is definitely going to be my Spring color - I am going to post about other peachy-toned products I am loving at the moment - together with teal and mint green!
PS. I WANT Deborah Lippman's Mermaid's Dream. I almost chocked when I saw it for the first time!
Sure! Thanks x
